Chapli Kabab Recipe
Ingredients:-
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 large onion.. finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes.. finely chopped
- 4 cloves garlic,.. minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger.. minced
- 2 green chilies.. finely chopped
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon coriander seeds
- 1 tablespoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup gram flour (optional)
Instructions:
- Heat a pan over medium heat and toast the coriander and cumin seeds until fragrant...
- Grind the toasted seeds into a powder...
- In a large bowl..combine the ground beef... onion..tomatoes..garlic..ginger.. green chilies.. eggs.. ground spices..salt..and pepper. Mix well...
- If the mixture is too wet, add the gram flour to absorb some of the moisture...
- Form the mixture into patties about 1 inch thick...
- Heat some oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Fry the patties for 2-3 minutes per side or until cooked through and browned...
- Serve hot with your favorite chutney or side dish...
Tips:-
- For a more flavorful kebab marinate the patties in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or up to overnight
- If you don't have gram flour you can use bread crumbs or all-purpose flour instead.
- To make the kebabs even more crispy, you can shallow fry them in a wok or skillet until golden brown....
