Chapli Kabab Recipe

 


Ingredients:-

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 large onion.. finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes.. finely chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic,.. minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger.. minced
  • 2 green chilies.. finely chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon coriander seeds
  • 1 tablespoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup gram flour (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Heat a pan over medium heat and toast the coriander and cumin seeds until fragrant...
  2. Grind the toasted seeds into a powder...
  3. In a large bowl..combine the ground beef... onion..tomatoes..garlic..ginger.. green chilies.. eggs.. ground spices..salt..and pepper. Mix well...
  4. If the mixture is too wet, add the gram flour to absorb some of the moisture...
  5. Form the mixture into patties about 1 inch thick...
  6. Heat some oil in a pan over medium heat.
  7. Fry the patties for 2-3 minutes per side  or until cooked through and browned...
  8. Serve hot with your favorite chutney or side dish...

Tips:-

  • For a more flavorful kebab marinate the patties in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or up to overnight
  • If you don't have gram flour you can use bread crumbs or all-purpose flour instead.
  • To make the kebabs even more crispy, you can shallow fry them in a wok or skillet until golden brown....
