Lever Fry Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 pound chicken livers'' cleaned and trimmed
- 1 tablespoon .....oil
- 1/2 onion...chopped
- 2 cloves.. garlic;;.minced
- 1 teaspoon.. ginger, minced
- 1 teaspoon.. turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon.. red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon.. coriander powder
- 1/4 teaspoon.. cumin powder
- 1/4 teaspoon.. garam masala
- Salt to taste
- Chopped cilantro..for garnish
Instructions:-
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat...
- Add the onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes....
- Add the garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute more...
- Add the livers and cook.. stirring occasionally.. until browned on all sides.. about 5 minutes...
- Add the turmeric powder.. chili powder,. coriander powder, cumin powder..Garam masala.. and salt...
- Cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute more...
- Remove from the heat and garnish with cilantro...
Tips:
- To clean the livers, rinse them under cold water and remove any visible veins or sinews...
- If you prefer a milder liver fry..you can reduce the amount of chili powder.
- Serve the liver fry with rice..roti..or naan...
