Lever Fry Recipe

 


Ingredients:

  • 1 pound chicken livers'' cleaned and trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon .....oil
  • 1/2 onion...chopped
  • 2 cloves.. garlic;;.minced
  • 1 teaspoon.. ginger, minced
  • 1 teaspoon.. turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon.. red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon.. coriander powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon.. cumin powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon.. garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped cilantro..for garnish

Instructions:-

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat...
  2. Add the onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes....
  3. Add the garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute more...
  4. Add the livers and cook.. stirring occasionally.. until browned on all sides.. about 5 minutes...
  5. Add the turmeric powder.. chili powder,. coriander powder, cumin powder..Garam masala.. and salt...
  6. Cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute more...
  7. Remove from the heat and garnish with cilantro...

Tips:

  • To clean the livers, rinse them under cold water and remove any visible veins or sinews...
  • If you prefer a milder liver fry..you can reduce the amount of chili powder.
  • Serve the liver fry with rice..roti..or naan...
