Paneer Steak
Ingredients:
- 1 block of paneer, cut into 1-inch thick steaks
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions:
- In a shallow dish, combine the cornstarch, salt, and pepper.
- Dip the paneer steaks in the cornstarch mixture to coat both sides.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the paneer steaks to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve immediately with your favorite sides.
Here are some variations on this recipe:
- For a spicier steak, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the cornstarch mixture.
- For a more flavorful steak, marinate the paneer in your favorite marinade for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
- To make a grilled paneer steak, preheat your grill to medium heat and cook the steaks for 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
